Credit Transfer Policy
For Online & Distance Courses – Centre for Distance and Online Education (CDOE)
The Distance and Online Education Univesities allow students to transfer
credits from another recognized university and continue their studies in
Undergraduate (UG) or Postgraduate (PG) distance programs.
Who Can Apply?
- Completed 1st or 2nd year of a UG or PG program
- Degree not fully completed
- Continuing at the same level:
UG → UG | PG → PG
Allowed Credit Transfers
Regular → Distance
Private → Distance
Distance → Distance
❌ Credit transfer from Distance to Regular mode is not permitted.
How to Apply
Fill Application Form
Submit to CDOE
Pay Required Fee
Attach Attested Documents
All documents must be attested by a Gazetted Officer.
Credit Transfer Fee
₹1500/- (Additional to qualifying examination fees)
How Admission Is Decided
- University evaluates eligibility and course credit matching
- Admission granted to 2nd year or 3rd year based on credits
- Additional papers may be required if some credits are missing
Important Declaration
- All information provided must be correct
- Documents submitted must be genuine
- Legal or administrative action may be taken for false documents
- University reserves the right to verify documents
Programs Covered
- UG and PG Degree Programs only
- Applicable only to programs under CDOE (Distance Mode)

- Attested mark-sheets of passed courses
- Attested syllabus copies of the same academic year
- All documents must be clear and readable
Important Instructions
- Credit transfer is subject-wise, not year-wise
- Only students who completed 1st or 2nd year are eligible
